Camtasia

I use the program Camtasia by Techsmith to create screencasts for different purposes, such as “how-to” videos, creating imitation exercises, and giving student feedback on presentations. Have a look at some example videos below.

I modeled this video off of “Rachel’s English Imitation Exercises” but catered in to the show “Sherlock” since we were watching season one as a class. If you haven’t visited her website, be sure to check it out!


Below is an example of how I’ve used Camtasia to embed feedback into a recording of a student’s process presentation. The presentation was the first presentation in an Advanced I Listening & Speaking course.
